TVFD 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk

The Thibodaux Firemen’s Fair is proud to announce the 2nd Annual addition of a 5k Run/Walk to our 4-day festival on Saturday, May 4th. The Run/Walk will begin at the entrance of the fairgrounds at 7:30 a.m. with a 1 Mile Fun Run. Immediately following the Fun Run, at 8:00 a.m., we will kick off the 5K Run/Walk. The route will take participants through the streets of Thibodaux passing through our Historic Downtown District. Halfway through the race will be our watering point located in front of the Fire Department’s oldest Fire Company, Thibodaux Fire Co. No. 1.
After being refreshed at our watering point, the course will take participants back to the Fairgrounds with nice staight-away roads (Saint Mary St. and Tiger Dr.) to allow runners to pickup the pace as the finish line approaches. At the Finish Line, participants will be greeted with a supportive crowd as they cross.

To help us greet all of our participants and to entertain the supporters at the finish line, we will have a band on our main stage to ensure that we keep the “good times rolling.”

All other participant registrations (after 4/26) include:
- Race Day Shirt (Unisex Tech shirt or T-shirt while supplies last)
